Getting things in place.

Hey there, to those reading this.
This would be my first journal on this devART profile. I don't write in journals very often, so everyone get forward to reading a couple more in the next couple of years.
Anyways, for those of you who follow my work, you probably know that all of my work is video games, but there is one game that takes my focus, and that would be Mass Effect. This is mostly due to the fact that my work is made in Garry's Mod. And the fine folks at Facepunch.com have invested hundreds of hours porting models from Mass Effect to Source engine.
I want to take the lore and universe that Bioware has created, and the models that the Gmod community spent so much time porting, and make something great out of it. And that's what I'm beginning to do right now. I'm going to be dedicating most of my free-time to make a Mass Effect themed comic series. For those familiar with the Mass Effect universe, this will take place around the events of the second game, and it will feature a brand new cast of original characters on their own journey. One of my main priorities is to create a story that is original, yet fits in with the official canon of the game.
As of right now, I'm currently in the writing process, forming the plot and characters. The first page of this comic won't be ready for at least a couple of weeks, but I'm taking the time to make sure it's all well polished and pretty looking. For the next couple of days I'll be releasing images of some of the main characters, and little sneak peeks of what's to come. I'll also be trying to spread the word around.
